 Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance is seeking a detail oriented, data driven root cause problem solver with the technical chops to shed light on the quality and accuracy of our claim handlingDesirable candidates will have strong property claims acumen, knowledge to review and assess handling quality and strong data analysis skills. You must be able to work independently on audits of varying scale and partner to relay findings and provide continuous improvement recommendations. As SageSure’s Claims team grows, you’ll be a key part of writing our next chapter using data-driven storytelling, to illuminate the path to enhancing our claim quality and accuracy. What you’d be doing: 

  • Perform open and closed claim file audits, analyzing against quality, compliance, and service standards, leveraging data to create automated file audits where possible.
  • Lead stakeholder sessions, translate business needs into expertly documented requirements and craft clear documentation to support our unique assessment workflow.
  • Ability to review quality and estimatics data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Storytelling with data, beyond presenting raw data and translate insights into compelling narratives that drive quality efforts to increase the quality and accuracy of our claim handling.
  • Assists Quality Supervisor and Claims Quality and Compliance Program Manager in creating and providing monthly reporting within predetermined reporting parameters or creating data visualization dashboards.
  • Present findings and recommendations for process improvements to internal/external stakeholders. 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • 7+ years’ prior property claims experience
  • 5+ years’ claims quality experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
  • Experience with Corelogic tools and estimatics data 
  • Understanding of Power BI, SQL, query skills, and business Intelligence technologies/concepts
  • Strong attention to detail, highly self driven and results oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills along with proficient use of MS Office Suite or similar. 

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

  • Both desk and field property claims experience
  • Experience with water damage restoration
  • Experience with liability, litigation, and commercial claims
  • Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license if license not required; meets requirements for licensing in additional states as needed
  • Data manipulation, algorithm development, and building Machine Learning (ML) models.
  • Property reinspection knowledge/experience
  • Industry accreditation(s) (IICRC WRT, ASD, FSRT & ACAC CRMR)
  • Professional designation(s) (CPCU, SCLA, etc)
