Position Overview: As a Private Networks Solutions Architect at Ceragon, you will be the driving force behind the creation and implementation of comprehensive connectivity and networking solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of our customers networks. Your expertise in access technologies, PLTE and 5G communications will be essential in delivering high-quality connectivity solutions. You will be tasked with bringing profitable business opportunities to Ceragon by translating customer needs and technological opportunities into detailed technical proposals and solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Wireless Networks 4G & 5G Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in helping our clients design, deploy, and manage secure and reliable private networks that meet their specific needs.

Network Architecture and Solutions Design:

• Design and architect private network solutions utilizing 4G and 5G, fixed wireless access (FWA) technologies.

• Design networks that allow for transition from LTE to 5G and RAN technologies to future proof our customers deployments

• Presenting project guidelines and milestones to internal & external team members including costumers.

• Select and configure private networks equipment and software from leading vendors.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed networks.

• Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers for feedback and modify design to meet requirements.

• High-Level Design (HLD) of the solution and topology (including scope of work)

• Collaborate with multiple functions (internal and external) to create the Low-Level Design of the solution: R&D, Product Management, Pre-Sale, Planning & Design team, third party companies

• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing.

• Develop detailed network diagrams and documentation for implementation and as templates for customer engagement by sales.

• Work closely with Program Manager, leading all technical aspects of a customer engagement, during the execution phase of the contract

• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing 

• Identify new opportunities during the execution phase of the contract

Access Technologies:

• Utilize expertise in access technologies, including Private LTE, CBRS, WiFi, LoRaWAN, to design access networks that meet client needs.

• Demonstrate hands-on experience in CBRS deployment design and implementation.

• Deep knowledge of 4G & 5G technologies including core, RAN, MOCN standards, SaS, RAN deployment models, CPE, SIM, eSIM, BTS, CU, DU, RU connectivity models.


Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking) or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience as a Private Networks Solutions Architect or similar role with a strong emphasis on end-to-end network solutions.

• Experience working for a system integrator to build solutions utilizing a mix of internal and partner components. 

• Proficiency in 4G and 5G technologies, including LTE, NR, and Core Network functions. 

• Experience in PLTE, 5G, CBRS deployment design and implementation is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willing to travel for customer meetings and presentations.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
