In this role you will:
- Help respond to discovery orders, threatened disputes, litigation, and government inquiries;
- Manage the litigation hold and document collection process;
- Help conduct factual investigations and collect relevant records;
- Manage internal trackers for litigation, pre-litigation, and government requests for records and enforcement matters;
- Create, manage, and improve processes to scale our litigation function within the company;
- Work closely with our litigation and legal operations team to support outside counsel onboarding and billing review, and to onboard and utilize litigation-related tools;
- Collaborate with legal team members to improve processes, provide training, and ensure business needs are met.
You have:
- BS/BA Degree
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience either at a law firm, in the government, or in a company
- Prior experience at an in-house litigation department is a plus
- Experience working on litigation matters involving technology issues or for technology companies is preferred Experience with Google drive and related products preferred. Experience with other ebilling, ediscovery, and other commonly used tools a plus
- Analytical, process oriented, and strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, with lawyers and non-lawyers, to establish effective solutions efficiently and in an amenable manner
- Ability to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive attitude to the workplace. Lead with empathy and understanding while embracing diverse points of view. Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of law firm and vendor services as it relates to process development
- Interest in learning about Cloudflare's services and technology, and how they intersect with developing law and policy
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado, Illinois, Maryland and Minnesota based hires: Estimated annual salary of $105,000 - $129,000.
- For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $118,000 - $144,000.
