Who We Want
The Associate Automation Engineer will develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated and manual tests to ensure product quality. Responsibilities include assisting with developing and maintaining automated tests as well as designing and implementing manual tests. This role will conduct automated testing during product development and product launches and conduct manual testing as needed. Ultimately, this role will be participating in monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Write and maintain basic automation test cases in a test case management tool
- Navigate Database schemas and write basic SQL scripts
- Integrate and test API's
- Assists with developing, automating, and maintaining test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability while learning how to complete independently
- Analyze test case results and provide meaningful feedback
- Assist the Quality team in developing a successful automation test suite that increases efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs in Jira
- Develop scripts to automate repetitive work
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to identify system requirements and ensure coverage of all testing areas
- Work with Selenium, Selenium Grid, C#, SQL, Visual Studio/VS Code, Azure Devops, and Git for source control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or Quality/Coding Related Bootcamp
- Basic understanding of white box and black box testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting, preferred
- Some knowledge of API testing and tools, preferred
- Basic knowledge of writing code in any language, preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
